European civil society organisations seek clarification on reported exclusion of FEMYSO from European Parliament activities

A group of civil society organisations, MEPs, and UN officials has written to the President, Secretary General, and members of the Bureau of the European Parliament to express serious concern and seek clarification over public claims that the European Parliament has decided to exclude FEMYSO from its activities. The signatories warn that the apparent decision raises serious concerns about transparency, due process, and the principles of inclusion and participation that European institutions have committed to uphold; going against Articles 2 and 11 of the Treaty of European Union and EU Civil Society Strategy.
